Before making the decision to book, it's important to know if we're a good fit. I love my clients dearly and my business is a huge part of my life. Below you will find all sorts of helpful information and a link to my available sessions and booking website.
Beginning April 2025, full and mini family session, engagement/couples and creative content are available. 
I have put a pause on in-home newborn session for the time being.




 

 

WHAT I REALLY, REALLY WANT YOU TO KNOW... FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART

My main focus is delivering quality edited photos with true attention to detail. Family photos are an investment and I want you to LOVE them. There are 20 other photographers in a 10 mile radius that you could that you could book. Many of them catering to smaller budgets. Everyone has a budget (unless you're Taylor Swift) and that OKAY! The pricing listed reflects my years of experience and allows me to avoid personal burnout and artistic burnout. I want to give my clients the very best of me every time. 

My business and clients mean the world to me. For many of you, I have been fortunate enough to witness so many amazing seasons of life. Careers, business launches, proposals and engagements, cross country moves, weddings and growing your sweet family. It's remarkable, really. I launched this business as a single 22 year college student, living in a single (adorable) apartment with my cat. Now I am *almost* 34 and life looks a little different. I now own a home and Historic Bell Hill Wedding Venue in Cobden, IL.  I am wife and mother to two precious little boys. These guys come first, always. I'm sure so many moms out there can resonate with my experience as a working mom. It's hard at times. So often I feel pressure to be a photo machine... along many other responsibilities that come with owning a business. *adds accountant, secretary, social media manager, location scout, bribe extraordinaire, child wrangler, CEO, house keeper, grounds keeper and decorator to current resume* I am living the life I used to pray for but the struggle of creating a sustainable work/life flow can leave you feeling depleted. I refuse to rush through editing anyone's gallery for the sake of a one week turn around. Every session has different needs. Some kids have snot running down their nose in every photo, or a kid has a black eye from smacking their head on the coffee table the day before our session. And occasionally, it's 100 degrees during photos and your husband had sweaty pits. 
Long story long, quality work takes time and gallery delivery times can vary throughout the year. If you are in need of an expedited turn around, please reach out to me so we can talk details.

TRAVEL - New for 2025
As much as I love a little road trip while singing TS at the top of my lungs..travel time adds up quickly. Time on the road = time away from my people. This year, I made the decision to photograph sessions in Jackson County, Williamson County and Historic Bell Hill only. If you're not sure where we can go, I am happy to suggest several great locations in our area that will photograph beautifully.

PAYMENT
Unless otherwise discussed, payment is due at the time of your session and can be taken care of by cash, a check made out to Savanna Kathleen Photography or Savanna Burgrabe, Venmo or Paypal.


PRINTING
It’s important to know that I do not give print releases to Walmart or Walgreens. Sadly, their printing quality takes away from my hard work. I offer super easy and convenient printing services through my online gallery, and I have several online printing lab recommendations where you can print from on your own time. The good news is that online printing labs do not require a print release and their quality is 100X better!

PROPS, SESSION TIMING, LOCATIONS.. ALL THE FUN STUFF
I keep props, signs and decorations for sessions to a minimum, but I’m always open to ideas. My goal is to always keep the focus on you and your family. I have a collection of antique quilts and chairs to pick from for photos outdoors. For newborn sessions I have plenty of wraps, headbands, hats, blankets, buckets and baskets! Natural light is my jam, and 99% of the time the sun decides on session times and where we shoot. For sessions in your home, we will pick a time where the natural light is best in your home, which may be morning or early afternoon. If you're interested in an outdoor morning session, we usually start photos between 8am and 9am. Outdoor evening sessions typically begin around 2 hours before sunset.
